The second annual Flatwoods Music Festival will be held on June 22 at the Flatwoods City Park. The event will kick off at noon with the Country Music Highway Talent Show.

For the talent show, contestants will be asked to perform two songs; and extra points will be awarded for orginal music.

Constants will be judged on stage presence, vocal/sound quality and originality. You may also request any time slot between noon and 4pm.

Registration is FREE and forms are available at Flatwoods City Hall or at Callihan's in the Kyova Mall.

The prize package for the talent show includes: a personal multimedia package from TCR Country, Thunder Bay, Studio 21, Marty Conley Photography; which will be reviewed by Nashville producers.

After the talent show there will be live performances by other local artists including Bobby Cyrus!

I've been telling you for a while now that something big is coming to Homegrown Country, and its here!

Homegrown Country is Podcasting!

That's right!

One thing we are always asked is if the show is available for listening other than its air time. Up until now, that was a big NO. But that's changed! Now you can listen to the show: 1. On your radio, 2. Live at TCRCountry.com, 3. Live via your IHeartRadio App, and finally 4. ANYTIME you want via the podcast!

Its super easy. Just go to TCRCountry.com and hover your mouse over the "Music" tab. Click "Podcasts" on the drop-down menu, and then select which podcast you wanna hear.

Each Monday the show from the day before will be uploaded to the blog page for you to listen whenever you want, as many times as you want! In addition to installments of the show, we will upload other material we acquire such as artist interviews!
